Javier Valle Perez (Managua, 1973) is one of the key figures that distinguishes the renewed panorama of contemporary Nicaraguan art. This renewal is part of the growing visual arts boom in the Central American isthmus recorded during the last decade. Valle, who graduated from the School of Plastic Arts in Nicaragua in 1998, has come developing a very personal cosmogony where subconscious and reality, drawing and painting, architecture and fable are combined in graceful harmonies that invite the viewer to a fascinating journey. The proposal of Javier Valle stands out for the high level of visual poetry where the artist creates worlds of dreams without pair. Valle is a master of color. The successful use of the turquoises, yellows, and fuchsias tempered by the sienas creates a dreamlike atmosphere.
